Pizzicato Star #8 is....Mystique O'Purr

what's your name?
I am a woman of many aliases, but for purposes of this, I think I’m known as Mystique O’Purr.

what's your birthday?
On the Internet, I lie by a few days and one year, because of identity theft, so I say that it’s 10/31/74, which is pretty close.

what's yr sign?
Scorpio

your blood type?
B+ Like my attitude

what type of men/women do you like?
For love, I like unusual men who enjoy talking and spending time with people. I seem to prefer men with some outward physical difference. In high school, I was madly attracted to a boy with a wild eye. As a young adult, I had a torrid affair with a guy who had a lisp. I’m currently married to a very short guy with HUGE hair and enormous sideburns. Even if he didn’t have the unusual hair, he’d still be very different looking.
For companionship, I prefer warm people with dry, quick-wit, who know when to leave each other alone, and when to come together. I prefer them in small, intimate groups. I like ‘em quirky, artistic, and unique.

what type don't you like?
I can usually find something to like in everyone, but I’m not typically drawn to cookie-cutter people. I have distaste for “Hippos” (these are people who drag everyone down into the mud with them). I also find it hard to be around people who have no real interest in life (or pretend not to).

who are your current lovers?
I only need one at a time, and since I’m married, my sexy, wonderful, fantastic husband is everything I need in this arena. If we want to go outside of the “natural” I also consider God a lover.

what's your favorite food?
Salmon, almonds, and avocados – and not in that order. If you use the salmon and avocados to make sushi, I’m even happier.

what food don't you like?
Peas, watermelon (or any melon), sugar (unless it’s in something creamy), steak fries, and I’m beginning to realize that I’m not really a big fan of chicken. I don’t eat beef. That’s not to say I don’t like it. I just don’t eat it.

what's your favorite fashion?
Haute-quirk and increasingly comfy.

what fashion don't you like?
Anything ridiculous that isn’t wearable. Anything boring (though you have to wear something to the grocery store).

what's yr hobby?
Painting, jewelry-making, pottery, reading, knitting, crocheting, nature-walks, found art, writing, poetry, violin, pi-any, listening to music, learning

what were you doing last sunday?
Painting pottery

when did you wake up this morning.
8:30

who's your favorite designer?
Pffft…I am.

favorite lipstick/guys: mouth candy?
For looks, there’s a great L’Oreal kind that stays on all day. For taste, either Philosophy’s Ice Cream Man, or Aveda’s chap stick

foundation/guys: skin care product?
I like Cetaphil, but it’s not a foundation. Sometimes I found…sometimes, I fly free.

what's your favorite perfume/cologne?
Just one? No can do. Grace by Philosophy, Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana, Relaxing by Shisheido

what color hair do you wish you were born with?
Doesn’t matter.

are you a good cook?
I sure am. It runs in my family.

what food do you cook best?
All of them. My husband loves my chili, but I love my rosemary scallops.

what do you wear when you sleep?
Depends on whether or not I wanna get lucky, or stay warm. Fortunately, Victoria’s Secret makes some pretty stuff successful for achieving both.

what did you eat when you woke up this morning?
Raw oatmeal, flax seeds, soy milk, blueberries.

what's your favorite word?
Cheesecake, Candle, Olly-olly-oxen-free, Franklin, Tiramisu, creamy, dulcet, conundrum, riparian, euphoria, impish

what word don't you like?
MOIST!

what's your favorite flower?
Lilacs

favorite color?
Red, followed closely by cobalt blue

what's your favorite season?
Autumn

where do you most want to go now?
To the bathroom. I love to travel, but I’m always happy where I am.

what's your job?
Who wants to talk about that?

do you like your work?
Hmm…yes, but I’d be happier if my hobbies yielded fantastic amounts of money.

do you like your songs?
Yes.

do you like yr voice?
Yes.

what is your dream of the future?
I would love to turn one of my hobbies into cash. I’d also like to free up time to do some things for others.

what's the happiest thing about your life?
My relationship with God, followed by my marriage.

how about the saddest thing?
My husband doesn’t want me to travel, because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and I ruptured my aorta in Italy. He’d prefer I remain close. I love to travel, but recovering in an Italian hospital was not pleasant.

what part of yourself do you like best?
I am genuine.

what part of yourself don't you like?
I could be healthier.

what part of your personality do you like best?
I like myself, in general. I have a lust for life.

what part of your personality don't you like?
I have a short fuse and a sharp tongue.

what is your bad habit?
Not sure. Maybe occasional procrastination, but I’m not sure that’s bad.

when was your first love?
Kindergarten.

what kind of guy/gal was (s)he?
He was funny, but shy. Only I knew he was funny. It was like our little secret.

what type of guy/gal is yr current lover?
Pretty much the same as that guy. Olive-skinned, short, funny (but only for me).

what do you expect from him or her?
Respect and time.

what did you dream last night?
I’ve been having lots of similar dreams lately, where people are helping me out. I think it’s because I’m in charge of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at the office, and I have lots of help.

do you believe in dreams?
Do I believe that they come true, or that I have them? :D Mmm, to some degree. I dreamed about Freddie Krueger a couple of years ago, and he never showed up, so I have to say some don’t come true, but if you want to do a deep-dive and say that it was a manifestation of my anxieties…well…I suppose it’s possible.

do you believe in jinxes?
Nope.

do you believe in magic.
Yes, but I believe it has a source. Therefore, I don’t know that “magic” is the right word.

do you believe in God?
Yes, and the feeling is mutual.
